Founded in June 2016 by a group of students looking for new ways to improve in their foreign languages, Worldly prepares students to use their foreign languages in the real world by allowing them to practice with native speakers. Practicing with native speakers helps build the conversational skills and cultural knowledge that make a foreign language so valuable in the real world; it broadens our horizons and allows us to live in a more global community.
Whether you're an advanced student improving your fluency or a beginner working on vocabulary, Worldly has something for everyone, from real-time, conversational games to easier, written exercises. Through these games and exercises, you interact with native speakers of your foreign language, learning new words, discovering new cultures, and making new friends.
Our team is as global as our mission. We're from France, Guatemala, and the U.S. We speak English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, and a little bit of Taiwanese. We're all language students, and we all know how difficult and how valuable it is to learn a foreign language.
